A lightweight, playful, nimble ski that can hang over a variety of terrain and conditions.
The Black Crows Captis Birdie is an all-mountain ski that has a more playful spirit. It feels light and quick underfoot without feeling nervous as you pick up the pace. At 90mm underfoot this ski does well through a variety of snow conditions and terrain. In the trees, the Captis Birdie has good snap and is easy to whip around tight terrain, the tails are easy to release and smear as well. On hard pack or groomers the Captis Birdie feels energetic, has good grip and it's easy to get these skis to make any turn shape and they're incredibly predictable. Because these skis are a little lighter, more playful, and have no metal underfoot, a more experienced or harder-charging skier will be able to find the speed limit but they don't feel unstable. If you're looking for something to dive in and out of trees, while maintaining good groomer performance and grip these are a solid option.
