The Black Crows Atris Birdie is the perfect ski for skiers with a more playful style and a desire to hunt down softer snow. A 105mm waist width combined with a generous amount of rocker makes this one of the most nimble skis in the all-mountain category. The Atris Birdie pivots on a dime and can make quick turns even in the tightest terrain. Considering the prowess this ski has in softer snow, it does actually hold up pretty well when the conditions are less than desirable. The Atris Birdie is strong enough underfoot to help keep you locked into steeper terrain and to allow the ski to carve a decent turn if you find yourself cruising a groomer. However, home is generally off groomers playing in the trees, soft snow, or on the side of the trail. For skiers who prefer a nimble, quick, playful ski that is a weapon in soft snow the Atris Birdie is one of the best options out there. Bonus points for looks and maintaining enough hard snow integrity to keep you confident over firm terrain.

The Atris Birdie may not be the best ski for arcing turns on a groomer, that's not what it was built for, but it could be one of the best skis for skiing deeper snow and cruising through trees or technical terrain. It's playful, easy to maneuver, and a blast in the right conditions.
