Atomic Remedy 130 Ski Boots 2026

$839.95

The Atomic Remedy 130 is a high-performance boot for skiers who aren't willing to sacrifice performance. It's stable, powerful, and inspires confidence regardless of how hard you push it. If you're a skier who likes to rip turns on groomers, blast through chopped-up crud, or bomb through technical terrain, the Remedy can handle it. No matter how burly the ski you're clicked into is, the Remedy 130 is more than enough boot to drive it. For a low-volume boot, the Remedy is well shaped to be accommodating around the typical problem areas in a ski boot. It also has a heat-moldable shell and liner, making the fitting process a breeze. This is the Kerry Gold Butter of ski boots…IYKYK

CHURN DOWN FOR WHAT.

The Atomic Remedy 130 is one of the best boots to hit the market in the past few years. The Remedy may not look like a traditional high-performance 130 flex boot, but this is a boot you would stack up next to the Lange RS 130,  Head Raptor 140, or K2's new Cortex 140. It has true race-inspired performance with some freestyle-inspired add-ons (i.e., a softer boot-board for a less harsh feel on landings or bullet-proof terrain). These characteristics make the Remedy as confident ripping groomers and piping turns as it is crushing gnarly steeps, technical terrain, or side-hits.

This particular boot lives in-between the popular Atomic Hawx series and Atomic's Redster TX (previously CS) boots. It has a thicker-walled plastic than the Hawx series that will provide more power and damping compared to the Hawx, enabling more aggressive skiers to access all the performance their skis have to offer. The liner itself isn't quite as intense as the liner in the Redster line, which adds to the all-day "comfort" we've found the boot to have, but that doesn't detract from a consistent, locked-in fit.

Not all 130 flex boots are created equal -- if you're used to a 130 flex Hawx Ultra or Prime, this Remedy 130 will feel like "more boot." The Remedy is substantially heavier than the Hawx boots, more similar to the Atomic Redster TX or CS. This weight is where the added performance comes from. It has an insanely smooth, progressive power band, provides unmatched stability, and has great rebound to keep you skiing as aggressively as you'd like without feeling like you’re beating yourself up to steer your skis. It's tough to find a stout boot like this that doesn't feel blocky or dead as you push harder into the flex pattern. Atomic crushed it with the build of this boot. If you're a more advanced skier who appreciates performance above all else, this should be at the top of your list.

For those of you still reading... Yes, the color of the boot is called Butter. Yes, it looks sweet in photos, but it looks even butter on snow. We really could've filled this whole review with a few sticks of butter jokes and puns, but figured you'd want us to spread some real information.

Bootfitter's Notes

The Atomic Remedy 130 is a low-volume ski boot. However, the anatomically shaped shell and liner provide a snug, but not overbearing, fit and feel. The toe box has a shape similar to a foot, meaning more room for the tip and inside of the big toe and outside the pinky toe and 5th metatarsal head. Both the shell and liner are heat moldable and able to be modified to accommodate different foot shapes. If you've fit into a low-volume boot before, the Remedy will work. If you've typically been in a mid-volume boot, don't let the narrow last of this boot scare you away; it's generous where it should be for a consistent fit.
