One of our favorite high-performing boots is back and looking better than ever with that new BOA fit system on the shell. Same outstanding performance, even more comfort. Above-average skiers looking for an average-fitting boot should have their sites set on the Prime 115. It's an aggressive boot that can handle the hardest charging without being the most snug fit out there. If you're an advanced skier you need a boot that can drive a pair of skis with precision and power, and that's what a stiffer boot like the Prime 115 will do. The stiffer flex pattern the Hawx Prime offers makes even the smallest input you send to the boot go right to the ski without ever skipping a beat. Straight up, this boot makes skiing aggressively easier. Possibly even more impressive is how comfortable it is for the average foot. The fit is not overbearing whatsoever, and you can't say that about every high-performing ski boot.
Bootfitter's notes:
The Prime 115 is true to size and width. Relative to other boots in this category, the toe box is more pointed so you may feel a bit more pressure on the inside of your big toe and outside of the pinky toe. Instep is generous for a 100mm lasted ski boot, especially with the new BOA fit system. Heel pocket is firm to help keep you locked in when you're pushing it. The ability to mold the shell and liner will help to get the fit dialed in quickly and get the boot to feel as appropriate as possible around your feet. Cuff is also generous enough to accommodate more athletic calves. Top of the foot, instep, and above the toes are more generous than some other boots in this category such as the Nordica SpeedMachine 130 or Tecnica Mach1 130. If you're looking for a less aggressive feel check out the Hawx Prime 105.

If you want a boot that can perform with the best but don't want to sacrifice too much on comfort, the Prime 115 is an awesome place to look. The boot foot feels great on the average foot without being too roomy. It's stiffer flex pattern is what any more advanced skier needs to properly drive their ski and shape each turn.
