The Atomic Hawx Prime 110 is a boot that works for tons of different foot shapes and skier types. If you have an average foot, this boot will feel pretty dang good out of the box. It's snug in the right places, while also being generous in the right places. For skiers with a wider foot, this works as a performance fit. Regardless of your foot shape, the 110 flex works great for progressing skiers who want a boot that's stable but not overwhelmingly stiff, or more advanced skiers who want something a little more mellow and comfortable. The boot will stay responsive when you start picking up speed, but won't take much work to bend into if you need to scrub some speed. A great option for anyone who isn't pointing their skis straight down the hill all day long.
Bootfitter's notes:
The Prime 110 is true to size and width. Relative to other boots in this category, the toe box is more pointed so you may feel a bit more pressure on the inside of your big toe and outside of the pinky toe. Instep is generous for a 100mm lasted ski boot, especially with the addition of a BOA dial. Heel pocket is firm to help keep you locked in when you're pushing it. The ability to mold the shell and liner will help to get the fit dialed in quickly and get the boot to feel as appropriate as possible around your feet. Top of the foot, instep and above the toes is more generous than some other boots in this category such as the Nordica SpeedMachine 110 or Tecnica Mach1 110. If you're looking for a stiffer, more responsive flex check out the Hawx Prime 120 BOA.
