The JJ has been a staple powder ski since it's inception.  The 116 mm waisted Armada inspired many powder skis to be built the way they are and to this day the JJ is still one of the best powder skis you can get. There are no days to deep or snow to chundery that the ARV 116 JJ can't handle.  It isn't heavy by any means but it's not super light either. The little bit of extra heft allows it to plow through chopped up, tracked out or heavier snow too, not just the champagne pow that we all hope for.
