The AntiMatter 88 is proof that not every ski needs a complete redesign. Formerly known as the Declivity 88 C, Armada gave this ski a new name and fresh graphics, but underneath it's the exact same ski that earned a loyal following among skiers who spend most of their time on groomers but still want the versatility of an all-mountain platform.

At 88 mm underfoot and built with a lightweight carbon construction, the AntiMatter 88 feels quick, energetic, and incredibly easy to ski. This is one of those skis that seems to make every turn effortless. It rolls edge-to-edge with very little input, initiates turns naturally, and feels comfortable whether you're cruising with the family or skiing with purpose.

Compared to the wider AntiMatter models, the 88 is lighter on its feet and more frontside-focused. It doesn't have the planted, powerful feel of the AntiMatter 92, but that's exactly the point. The AntiMatter 88 prioritizes agility, responsiveness, and ease of use over brute-force stability. The carbon construction gives it plenty of energy coming out of the turn while still providing enough grip and confidence for firm snow days.

What has always impressed us about this ski is how broad its appeal is. Intermediate skiers love how easy it is to control, while advanced skiers appreciate how lively and fun it feels when conditions are firm. It reminds us a lot of an Elan Ripstick 88, but with a little more focus on carving performance and groomer precision.
