This is a warm friggen mitten, probably the second warmest we sell, second to the Heated Outdoor Research Mittens, but is that even fair to compare it to another mitten that has batteries?  With the Armada Turducken you get 3 pieces; the shell which is a Gore-Tex Pro fabric with all the seams sealed with Gore tape, the inner mitt which is a nylon shell with down insulation and the liner which is a Polartec power stretch fleece.  All of these incredible matierials fabrics and technologies make the Armada Turducken Mitt super warm.

On the coldest days we recommend using the liner, but if you want added dexterity it'll be better to just have the insulating layer/the inner mitt.  They are bulkier feeling mitts but that is the trade off when you get warmth at this level.  Honestly they are an excellent option for shoveling, snowblowing etc too.

Material

A 3L Gore shell keeps the wind out and allows the moisture to escape.  Since it is a 3L gore fabric it is extremely durable.

Waterproofness/Breathability

It's Gore-Tex Pro so you know you have these two things covered.

Additional Awesomeness

The liner is great for just walking around town or for driving.  The inner mitt because of the additional reinforcement can be used on it's own too.  When your out on the hill definitely use the shell, it's burly!
