The Zero G Tour Scout is an uphill focused, dowhill capable touring boot built for efficiency and light weight set-ups. On the ascent the Tour Scout has a smooth walk mode that's easy to operate and incredible range of motion to keep you cruising without skipping a beat. On the dowhill side of things these are not the most powerful feeling boot and they don't ski well paired with heavier skis, but they ski much better than most other boots in this category an. In soft snow, with a lightweight ski you won't even be able to tell you're in a touring boot. The lateral siffness and rebound also help to make tricky descents more predictable since the skis will react well to the input you send the boot. If you are a two boot guy, this is a great option for your uphill set-up. The Tecnica Zero G Tour Scout is a mid-volume fit that is more generous compared to a traditional downhill boot due to a thinner liner and shell. It's more snug than some other AT boots. The Zero G Tour scout offers good foot retention throughout the entire boot. The instep nstep pressure will relax after the boots are molded to your feet but can be distracting during the try-on process. The ankle and heel are snug without being overbearing but are not as firm as a regular downhill boot liner. This is one of the better fitter touring options on the market.

The Zero G Tour Scout is for more casual skiers looking for a touring boot that shares some characteristics with a downhill boot. It's not as precise or powerful as a downhill boot, but it provides enough performance to keep you confident on descents.
