The Tecnica Mach1 HV 105 is one of the highest-performing boots for good skiers with wider-than-average feet. A smooth and powerful 105 flex combined with a softer liner that still holds your feet in make this one of our more popular women's boots for good skiers who don't want to cram their feet into a narrow boot. It send energy from you to your skis like a more narrow, performance oriented boot does all while keeping your feet happy out on the hill. There aren't a ton of skis out there that this boot can't drive well. While the 105 flex is powerful, it isn't unforgiving, making it an awesome option for skiers who aren't always perfect out on the hill. If you're a skier that prioritizes comfort but you still need a powerful boot this is one of the best choices for you. Ski boots don't need to be uncomfortable and they should make you're skiing as efficient as possible. The Mach1 HV 105 does both of those things really well.
Bootfitter's notes:
The Mach1 HV 105 is a true high-volume boot. It is a generous 103mm last, perfect for skiers with wider feet. The instep is true for a high-volume fit. The heel and achilles area are a bit more relaxed than the mid-volume Mach boot but still secure enough to keep you secure in the boot. Length may feel a bit short but not enough to warrant sizing up, the toe box will open up nicely once the boot is molded to your feet. Tecnica boots are some of the easiest to modify as well, great for the user and boot fitter if we need to make specific adjustments to any aspect of the fit. The cuff is accommodating enough for larger or more athletic calves as well.
