ASPEN HIGHLANDS.

Once you have gotten to the top of Highlands and you continue straight you have the option to ski to the right and start hiking up the bowl or go where locals love to go and that's Temerity the area of Aspen Highlands that the jacket is named after.  Temerity is the most challenging (and fun) terrain there and when it comes to challenging terrain you start breaking a sweat.  Strafe went with a 3L Polartec NeoShell, an extremely breathable fabric that won't feel as clammy as a Gore-Tex product.  

The simple colors go well with any pant but if you need a new pair pants check out the matching Strafe Temerity Pants.

Fit

The Temerity is a standard fitting shell jacket that is designed to have layers underneath it.  The jacket should look loose if you just have a t-shirt on underneath.     

Style

The Temerity jacket is a 3 Layer waterproof and breathable technical Polartec Neoshell.  

Performance Level

Polartec Neo Shell's are known for outstanding breathability.  The Temerity Jacket is a great shell for those that are on the hill working hard and breaking a sweat as it will allow the moisture to escape better than Gore.  The Level of wind protection is fantastic, the only downside to Polartec Neoshell jacket is they are not quite as waterproof.  But you need to ask yourself if you're really skiing when it's raining.

Insulation

There is no insulation in the Temerity Jacket.

Pockets

Two Napoleon Pockets; one with pass through access and two zippered hand pockets.

Venting

Pit zips with a tab big enough to pull yourself so you don't have to be that guy on the chairlift asking to have your pit zips zipped or unzipped.

Additional Awesomeness

Asymmetrical front zipper looks cool and different but also has great functionality.  If you are like us and tuck your face into your jacket when it's cold and the wind is blowing not having the zipper right in front of your mouth is awesome.  Warmer face and your tongue doesn't get stuck to the zipper.
