If you want to head west and lasso in a guy, a manly cliff dropping, freeride world tour riding, BA skier guy, you will have to be wearing a bib pant. The Scott Vertic 3L Gore-Tex Pant is one of those pants that can handle an entire season of wear and tear and still make you look like a doll. These pants are meant to fit over your ski boots, but my favorite part is the cuff cinch. These burly Cordura cuffs have the slickest mechanism to tighten your pants while wearing crampons or even sneakers in the parking lot. The Vertic has no shortage of pockets and due to the long side vents, the cargo pockets have moved to the top of the knee. These two pockets can hold a lot of stuff and they do a good job of keeping that stuff from falling to the sides of your knee and hindering movement. The bib zips off at the waist and this shell pant has a light brushed fleece liner which will keep your legs feeling cozy even if you ditch your long johns in the spring.
Regular - This regular fit is designed to be layered under athletically.
The Vertic GTX 3L pant is Scott’s most technical pant. With detachable soft-shell bib and Gore-Tex fabric you have the tools for alpine domination.
Gore-Tex 3L - All Gore-Tex products are guaranteed to keep you dry. This pant features the extremely waterproof Gore-Tex membrane with a brushed fleece liner on the inside to give you comfort next to skin.
There is no insulation in this shell pant.
This pant is definitely not short on pockets. You will find two zippered hand warmer pockets, two over the knee thigh pockets, and one back pocket.
