As far as higher flexing, low volume boots go, the S/Max 120 is an awesome fit and it delivers on the performance front as well.  A firm feel against your shin as you drive into your turns that doesn't pinch, it just feels how you would hope it would -- good and powerful.  Instant response edge to edge and all of this accomplished without feeling like your foot is in pain -- what an idea.

How's the fit? The S/Max 120 runs a little short for it's size, but not enough for you to increase a shell size.  The width is a true 98mm last. While the S/Max is easy to put on, it is snug on the instep. It is snug in the heel without being too snug on the ankle bones.  The S/Max 130 is going to feel a more snug in the heel pocket and forefoot due to a denser liner.
