Other synthetic insulated jackets on the market use sheets of synthetic batting that are less compressible and less breathable. The fabric of this jacket is 100% ripstop nylon, a very durable choice when compared to polyester. A good hood is worth its weight in gold on a cold day when you forget your hat. The Synergy Jacket has an insulated and adjustable hood with a high collar that will definitely keep you toasty when the cold wind blows. All of the zippers on this coat are YKK and the front zipper has an insulated draft baffle that will keep cold breezes from attacking you from the front.
