Down insulation used in conjunction with Polyester shell fabric(as it nearly always it) lacks nothing when it comes to the ability to regulate body temperature, but can restrict movement and cause hem lift. The four way stretch properties of fleece are a functional advantage for the active, but this freedom comes at the expense of wind stopping ability. The Nano Air’s nylon face fabric delivers both wind/water repellency, and 4-way stretch. Of course, your mobility will only be as good as the most restrictive component of your jacket allows. With this in mind, Patagonia has done what we have come to expect (innovate), by employing 4-way stretch, 60g FullRange Synthetic insulation. A warmth to weight ratio that stands up to the finest synthetics available, and the ability to insulate while wet makes FullRange Mechanical Stretch Insulation a player to watch. Slim Fit - The Nano Air Hoody provides freedom of movement by the use of 4-way mechanical stretch shell, insulation, and lining, as opposed to simply giving you extra room.

High Performance Water Repellent FullRange Synthetic Insulator w/ 4-way Stretch.

Performance Level

100% Recycled Polyester Shell Fabric - This rugged 22 Denier waterproof outer shell is finished with a durable water repellent(DWR), and is touted for it’s exceptionally low overall weight and a high breathable factor.

Nylon Plain Weave Lining - This 50 Denier liner fabric has 4-way stretch, and super supple feel next to skin.

Insulation

FullRange 60g - This synthetic insulation regulates body temperature effectively within a broad range or air temps, during all four seasons, and does so at extremely low weight and volume. FullRange Insulation sets itself apart from other capable synthetics by it’s 4-way stretch capability. FullRange Insulation sustains its loft, and ability to hold heat following exposure to moisture.
