The crew over at Norrona is completely stoked on the re-design of the Tamok collection and over here at The Ski Monster this jacket is definitely a staff favorite for the coming season. We are stoked to see a longer cut, stylish looks, awesome tech come together to make an all around awesome piece of gear. Upon first glance, you are going to see all sorts of cowboy influence. Can anybody say Gore-Pro wrangler long sleeve. Norrona categorizes the Tamok collection as backcountry free-ride gear and this shell jacket has everything you might need for life at the resort or on the skin track.

When things get sweaty, there are large underarm vents and a mesh lined chest vent to help dump excess heat. Directly across from the chest vent there is a big napoleon pocket. The Tamok jacket also has an RFID pass pocked on the left shoulder and two good sized hand pockets that can be used with a backpack waist belt. The shoulders and elbows are reinforced with burlier fabric and the whole jacket is made with recycled nylon. We love that asymmetric hand cuffs that cover the back of your gloves and the wrist gaiters keep snow out like a champ. The hood on the jacket can be easily adjusted with one hand and it can definitely fit over a helmet. Combine all of that with a removable powder skirt and you have a shell jacket that can’t be stopped.
