Definitely one of the sickest pieces on Mammut’s line, the Rime Tour is an insulated jacket that you absolutely need. It’s got a ton of warmth, and will do a great job keeping you toasty on the mountain underneath a shell, or even a lightly insulated jacket. One problem that some people have with “puffy” mid layers is the feeling of extra bulk, but that is conquered here with a super lightweight jacket that weighs just about 14 oz. Fiberfill material makes the lining of this jacket super soft and comfortable, and you’ll be wanting to wear it as an outer layer on colder days around the city as well. That’s a great call, and there’s definitely enough style in the jacket to pull that off, just keep in mind that the polyester fabric is not waterproof - so this is a mid-layer or a dry day outer layer. 

Fit

Regular Fit - Mammut’s traditional fit runs true to size and allows you to layer both over and under. 

Higher Collar - The jacket’s collar is slightly higher to protect your neck from the cold as well.

This is a polyester mid-layer filled with synthetic insulation.
