The Pischa IN Hooded Jacket, like so many other Mammut products, is truly the top-of-the-line, most performance-effective piece in its field. In this case, it’s a mountain mid-layer that’s great for added insulation on frosty ski days, but it’s also awesome for all-year mountaineers who want a jacket they can use on the hiking trail as well as the ski trail. It’s super light, and can fold up into itself, making it ideal for long backpacking trips where you’re trying to save room in your pack. It’s Primaloft insulation will trap plenty of heat too, so after a long day you can throw it on when the sun goes down to stay warm on those cold mountain nights.

Performance Level

Downproof Melange - A soft polyester fabric that weighs just 380g, making this a perfect jacket to throw in your pack for a good hike.

Insulation

Primaloft Silver - The Pischa is insulated with Primaloft, a synthetic insulator that will trap up to 80g of heat, so that this mid layer can be worn as an outer layer on a clear, chilly day.
