The Mammut Nirvana Pro is one of our favorite dedicated ski packs out on the market today. Mammut has loaded this thing with ski specific features that will leave you thinking the Swiss really know their stuff. The Nirvana Pro has a lot of the same great features as the Nirvana Ride, but main difference is that the Pro offers a full zipper access to the main compartment through the back panel. This 35 liter pack can hold a ton of gear and the back access can be super handy when you need to grab a layer that is accidentally stuffed all the way at the bottom. Even with your skis or board attached, you can quickly throw the pack in the snow, unzip and find you gear fast without having to take everything out of your bag.
The Nirvana Pro has a fleece lined goggle pocket, dedicated avy tool pocket for shovel and probe, zippered hip belt pocket, as well as top/back access main compartment. The main compartment has two zippered “micro organizers” that are attached to the interior of the back panel. Now when you unzip a full pack you can quickly find essentials like keys, phone, and first aid kit. The fabric on this pack is rugged and the ski/snowboard carry system has extra reinforcements to handle even freshly tuned edges. Pick up one of these packs and the attention to detail will not disappoint.
