The Line Sir Francis Bacon Shorty Skis are just the mini-version of the legendary adult Bacons. Designed with similar construction features, these skis are epic pow sticks that will float and blast through absolutely anything. With a full tip-to-tail wood core, Line’s FiveCut Geometry and Early Rise rocker, the Sir Francis Bacon Shorty provides stability, easy turning feel and optimal floatation. The 4D Fibercap construction gives the skis a lightweight, responsive feel, and also helps to increase durability. Construction

4D Fibercap Construction -  A full cap construction that has 4-directions of fiberglass wrapping around the core. This gives the junior skis a lightweight feel, without sacrificing durability and strength.

Core

Aspen Macroblock - A full tip-to-tail wood core that features aspen wood. 100% Aspen makes the skis incredibly light weight and easy to control.

Shape

Early Rise - A slight rise in the tip and tail results in easy turn initiation and increased float in soft snow.

Early Taper - The widest point of the ski’s sidecut starts tapering-in early to prevent hooking and allow for smoother turn entry and exit.

Base / Edges

Fatty Base and Edge - 30% thicker edge and 30% thicker base gives these skis maximum durability!

Extruded Base - This base material is fast and easy to maintain.

Symmetric Flex - A symmetrical flex gives the skis the same flex pattern in front and behind your ski boots. This allows for smooth switch riding!

5-Cut Geometry -  Line blends 5 different sized sidecuts radius shapes into all of their skis This allows the skier to have the unrivaled control and unlimited turn shapes.

Binding

The 2017 Line Sir Francis Bacon Shorty kid’s skis do not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.).
