The Line Bacon Shorty kid’s skis have all the epic-ness of the adult version, except they’re shrunk down to a fun size! Line designs the Bacon Shorty with the shredding junior skier in mind. An early rise tip and tail, early taper shape and 107 mm waist provide fantastic floatation in softer snow and spring time slush, as well as make the Bacon Shorty extremely easy to turn! A full wood core and Line’s 4-D Fibercap construction ensure a solid, stable feeling ride across any type of snow condition. The Line Bacon Shorty skis will have a junior skier attacking the mountain with confidence and big-boy steeze!
4D Fibercap Construction - A full cap construction that has 4-directions of fiberglass wrapping around the core. This gives the junior skis a lightweight feel, without sacrificing durability and strength.
Aspen Macroblock - A full tip-to-tail wood core that features aspen wood. 100% Aspen makes the skis incredibly light weight and easy to control.
Early Rise - A slight rise in the tip and tail results in easy turn initiation and increased float in soft snow.
Early Taper - The widest point of the ski’s sidecut starts tapering-in early to prevent hooking and allow for smoother turn entry and exit.
Fatty Base and Edge - 30% thicker edge and 30% thicker base gives these skis maximum durability!
Extruded Base - This base material is fast and easy to maintain.
Symmetric Flex - A symmetrical flex gives the skis the same flex pattern in front and behind your ski boots. This allows for smooth switch riding!
5-Cut Geometry - Line blends 5 different sized sidecuts radius shapes into all of their skis This allows the skier to have the unrivaled control and unlimited turn shapes.
The 2016 Line Sir Francis Bacon Shorty kid’s skis do not come with a binding.
