The all-new Lib Rig is a brand-new board from Lib Tech that blew me away every time I tested it this year. I can’t remember the last time a new board had me this stoked in its inaugural season. The first thing that jumps out with this board is its turning. It turns incredibly well regardless of if you’re moving slowly on low-angle stuff or bombing steeps. In short to medium-radius carves, turn initiation feels effortless and smooth and the deck grips well. On more gnarly terrain, it does a great job mowing over choppy snowpack in a confident fashion with no bobbles or chatter. The board is damp enough to be ripped at higher speeds, but it’s not the most aggressive board out there. If your main priority is a stiff board that just wants to go fast, this might not be the right board for you. This is a playful board that can handle hard charging. It’s most comfortable cruising groomers or dipping off-trail looking for side hits and soft snow. 

Who is this board for? Aggressive riders who want a playful board. Riders who want a board that excels off-trail but will work in any condition. Riders who like to go searching for natural jumps, tree taps, logs rails, you name it. 

Who isn’t this board for? Aggressive riders who want the stiffest board. High-speed carvers.
