In a Jr ski, 85 millimeters is a waist width that thrives in a variety of terrain settings. 12 meter sidecut depth is smooth and carvy on trail, important, because it doesn't snow every time you ski…Bummer, yeah, tell me about it. When it does drop 10-14” overnight, All-terrain Rocker in the tip and tail give the Shreditor 85 Jr’s just enough lift to surf the pow turns of your dreams. Tip Rocker also allows on-trail style turns to be initiated at a much lower edge angle. Cap Construction keeps the overall weight of the Shreditor’s down, in order to create a maneuverable feel in bumped up, technical sections of terrain. Aspen wood core material along the ski edge dampens the ride at speed and increases the consistency of the contact between the snow and the ski. The Shreditor 85 Jr’s are a no-brainer for rippin’ young skiers who take any terrain in stride.
Cap Construction - A lightweight, durable construction that makes the Shreditor incredibly easy to maneuver, regardless of the snow conditions.
Aspen/Paulownia Wood Core - The combination of Aspen and Paulownia woods at the core of the Shreditor 85's makes you agile enough to catch your prey, yet powerful enough to complete the predation. Grip ice, and slash bumps, granular, and pow turns with equal effectiveness.
All-Terrain Rocker - Camber underfoot with a rockered tip and tail, give the Kid's Shreditor 75 skis tremendous versatility all over the mountain. Easy to turn, effortless float and solid feeling on hardpack snow.
The 2016 K2 Shreditor 85 Jr does not come with a binding. We recommend you use a binding that will accommodate your skiing needs (backcountry, touring, all-mountain, freestyle etc.). Be sure the brake width and release settings will work for your particular activity. Questions about what's best for you, contact an expert at TheSkiMonster.com.
