The 22/23 Mindbender series is filled with skis that outshine their predecessors in all categories. The new 89 Ti W is a huge upgrade over the previous models thanks to all new construction. The Mindbender skis used to be difficult at low speed, tough in tight terrain, and planky feeling. Basically the skis had power but you couldn't access it. The new 89 Ti is much better at low speeds without sacrificing top end performance, easier to ski in tight terrain without feeling loose, and they arc a much more energetic turn. The ski has a good snap in and out of carves and the skiing is just more exciting without ever feeling like you're on a nervous ski. They keep their composure. The 89 Ti W prefers to be on groomed terrain and the ski has awesome power, energy and a smooth feel. If you do want to take these in tight terrain, the ski is easy enough to pivot but home is on trail. Awesome improvment from K2.
