The Giro Discord Ski or Snowboard Helmet is a brimmed soft shell designed to protect you in a variety of fall situations, wear super comfy, and provide a fresh low profile look. Soft shell construction has that skate helmet feel, and takes the shape of your head to some extent. Dual density padding absorbs crash energy but also gives your dome super kushy comfort, so you can focus on sending it. The super cool vents keep the air fresh inside your skid lid, and allow your sweat to dry while keeping you warm. Stack vents are as important to avoiding goggle fog as anything. No matter how well your goggles evacuate damp air on their own, fogging is a guarantee without these intelligently placed helmet vents. The earpads are removable for getting’ your spring time slush crush on, and feature headphone pouches, so you can stay in the zone on your way to the drop-in.

Construction

Soft Shell Construction - A flexible material makes up the outershell. This material is super durable, comfortable and able to withstand high and low energy impacts, where high density liners and rigid hard shells can actually heighten the effect of a slighter bump.

Dual Density Vinyl Nitrile Liner - This Giro technology gives the liner the ability to absorb impacts. This liner works in combination with the flexible outter shell for an unrivaled combo comfort and functionality. 

Fit System

Auto Loc 2 Fit System - This fit system serves as a gentle elastic hammock for your noggin. Set the elastic to your desired circumference setting, and let ‘er rip.

Venting

Super Cool Vents - Lets fresh air in, and pushes old air out! This system will help regulate your core temp all day.

Stack Vents - The fog free lens on your brand new $249.00 goggle is toast without the cooperation of the stack vent. Most of the heat that collects in the goggle, does so in the top, of course, and the stack vents allow this mugginess to be replaced by cool dry air.
