I think we can safely say the Ripstick 116 is the most versatile 115 mm + waisted ski. Why would you want a versatile pow stick? Well, if you’ve ever skied a lot of vertical in one run or different aspects, the snow can differ quite a bit – not every day out there is total ski porn.  While the Ripstick 116 is versatile it does do what you want any 116 mm waisted ski to do and that is float in the bottomless champagne pow that Utah is known for.   We sort of view the Ripstick 116 has trip insurance, if you get snow awesome, if it’s a coral reef at the top, it’ll be ok (even though those conditions SUCK, emphasis on SUCK), the mountain got hot and your harvesting spring corn – heck yea tip em’ and rip.  Elan’s Ripstick 116 is one of our favorites!
