Intermediate skiers with proportional feet will love this year’s AX Chakra, which fits 2 mm wider than the regular low volume Chakra. Don’t confuse all-around ability with middle of the road though, just because there’s not one place this boot will excel, it’s really good at a lot of things, and will fit most people really really well - making it perfect for the all-mountain skier who wants to crush different types of terrain. Not the stiffest or most aggressive boot Dalbello makes, but definitely stiff enough to make turns on more aggressive skis on hard snow. If you want a boot slightly more geared towards performance, or have a narrower foot - then consider stepping up to the Dalbello Chakra 95.
