Dakine Heli Pro II 28L Pack

Dakine Heli Pro II 28L Pack

Dakine Heli Pro II 28L Pack

SKIERS LOVE IT, SNOWBOARDERS LIKE IT.

Skiers get dual diagonal carry options have the skis at 11 o'clock or 1 o'clock as well as the a-frame position.  Snowboarders can vertically carry the snowboard but that's really only great on short or less steep hikes - if you're not hiking that far you'll love it.  The Heli Pro II 28L can hold a ton of stuff and gear and it is easily accesible.  Keep your skis or board on the pack and access the main compartment from the back so you don't have to take apart your backpack rig.  It's made of 630D and 400D Nylon ripstop so it'll take a beating, it's built to last.

Other nice thing about the 28L pack is that it works well as a carry-on for planes - not too big in case you have to put it in the overhead but sleek enough when not jammed full to fit underneath the seat in front of you.  Heli II Pro 28L is awesome and at least half of us have this pack.

Fabric

100% Nylon - This bag is constructed with heavy duty nylon that will stand up to years of abuse and ski edge destruction.

Fit

The Heli II Pro 28L comes in one size and it fits most people.

Ski/Snowboard Carry Style

Adjustable Diagonal Ski Carry - Using the retractable nylon straps you can easily carry your skis.  Using the Diagonal option is best if you aren't carrying much in your pack or your just doing a quick hike.

A-Frame Ski Carry - With nylon slots on the sides of the Arc pack you can carry your skis A-Frame style easily.  A-Frame carrying is best if you have a full pack, you are doing a longer hike or just need the skis out of the way of your feet while you are climbing - steeps especially.

Vertical Snowboard Carry - This pack will work well for carrying a snowboard on a shorter hike that isn't very steep.  Reason being on steeper terrain the board can get in the way of your feet and legs.

Pockets

Hip Belt - There is one pocket on the padded waist belt that is big enough to hold two decks of cards or something more useful for your adventure.

Front Snow Tool Pocket - This pocket is accesible from the the front and only when skis are not being carried diagonally.  Inside the pocket are slots for a shovel, probe and flashlight.

Main Compartment - Accessible from the top and back.  This compartment is best used for extra layers or the bigger items you'll be carrying.

Goggle Pocket - Fleece lined so you do not have to put your goggles in a bag before putting them in - though goggles in a bag is best practice.

Insulated Hydro Sleeve - With an insulated sleeve your Camelbak won't freeze up when you need a sip.

Additional Awesomeness

Integrated Rescue Whistle - Located on the sternum strap of the pack, a handy whistle is at the ready in case of emergency.

Load Compression Straps - As expected on a backcountry pack of this calibur are load compression straps so you can make sure you have the pack exactly where you want on your back.

Quick Draw Ice Axe Loop - Most people don't use this feature but if you need it you got and it works pretty well.

Crikey!!! Looks like we’re sold out.
