One of Burton's finest builds continues to impress over the years. The Burton Custom X Snowboard was designed with speed and power in mind. Riders who have spend a good amount of time on snow, feel comfortable, and like to push the limits will find joy with the Custom X. Not the best board to ride at lower speeds. Casual riders who like cruising blues will fatigue quicker compared to a Burton Hometown Hero. That doesn't mean you can't cruise, but if that's all you do better options exist. When you do pick up the pace the responsiveness and precision is unbelievable. One of the best carving boards we have tested. The more you lean the more it grips the snow. We couldn't find its speed limit, the board always felt stable. Straight shooting open bowls, all variations of groomers, and directional enough to get decent float in soft snow makes the Burton Custom X ideal for seasoned riders who prefers an aggressive feel.
