END OF SEASON SALE, ALL 2024 GEAR ON SALE NOW
Flex: 120 // weight: 1700 grams @ 26.5 centimeters // 98 mm last @ 26.5
Reason’s to go with the Hawx Ultra 120:
- Narrower Foot (98 mm last @ 26.5)
- You want a narrow boot that doesn’t weigh a ton like a race boot – they’re friggin heavy.
- You want a stiff boot, but not the stiffest thing out there.
The Atomic Hawx Ultra 120 S is a really great fitting 98 mm last, less pressure points than most race or performance low volume boots. This is quite often the case with newer shell designs and the Ultra 120 doesn’t miss. It’s ‘progressive shell’ wraps and hugs your foot while keeping weight down. The thinner plastic not only is where it can afford to be it’s in parts of the shell that are ‘problem areas’. The performance of the Hawx Ultra 120 is fantastic, providing skiers with a progressive flex that won’t give shin bite if your heading into some more rugged, choppy terrain. All around, it’s definitely an all-mountain capable boot, it’s just gotta fit properly.
What changed form 2018 to 2019?
The Ultra is no longer made of Grilamid, it's now a PU shell and cuff. But Atomic made it sweeter than most PU boots with their true flex additive it flexes more like a grilamid boot but is damper like a PU boot - suuuhhweet!
Polyurethane Shell + Polyurethane Cuff
2 Piece Overlap

How's the Fit: The Ultra 120 S fit's a smidge bigger than the Ultra 120 (2018) due to PU being used instead of Grilamid.
