The Atomic Hawx Ultra 110 is a really well-fitting, well-flexing boot for folks with a slightly narrower foot or who like a more precise fitting boot, but are tired of cramming their feet into a race boot and want something a little lighter and more forgiving. Don’t be too put off by the 98 mm last, it fits your foot really well and doesn’t press or pinch in any areas. Think precise fit more than tight. Atomic calls the shell their “Progressive Shell” and it’s constructed with lighter plastic in multiple parts of the boot to keep the overall weight down. Unless you’re somebody with a much wider foot, the Hawx Ultra is a great-fitting low volume all-mountain boot. 

Forward Flex / Boot Fit

The Atomic Hawx Ultra 110 is a 110 flex boot that can be adjusted to a 100-120

A lower volume boot with a 98mm last, but the fit feels feels precise rather than tight, especially in the toe box; where there’s really good fit for a low volume boot.

Buckles

7000 Series Aluminum Buckles – Strength on the few moving parts on the boots is crucial, because no one likes broken buckles.
