Atomic's Prime 120 XTD is the alpine touring version of the Prime 120. Gripwalk, tech inserts and a killer walk mode that doesn't just have great range of motion, it feels more fluid than other walk modes.  Your strides will feel more natural. As far as the ski ability goes it's really hard to tell that you're in a walk mode boot. The Prime 120 XTD skis really well, ski with confidence down whatever the heck you want.

How's the fit? The Prime XTD is true to size and width. The toe box is a more pointed than most ski boots so you may feel a big more pressure on the inside of your big toe and/or outside of the pinky toe. Instep is generous for a 100mm lasted ski boot. Heel pocket is nice and snug. Small pressure points will come out if the shell is molded to your feet. If you are looking for a hybrid touring boot and are typcially in high volume boots, the Prime XTD should be on your list.
