END OF SEASON SALE, ALL 2024 GEAR ON SALE NOW
According to Webster’s dictionary, Anorak comes from the Greenlandic work “Anoraq” and means: “A waterproof jacket, typically with a hood, of a kind originally used in polar regions.” Yup, that sounds pretty accurate in describing what this stretch jacket from Armada is. It’s waterproof (And windproof!), it definitely has a hood, and with Polyfill synthetic insulation, as well as a taffeta lining to keep you warm, this could absolutely be used in the polar regions. Plus, it’s got stretch face fabric which will give the fibers an extra stretch so the jacket doesn’t feel constricting, and instead moves with you. It’s even got a underarm zips and a full length side zip to let out some air on days where its a little warmer or you’re working a little harder. Bet the Greenlanders never thought of that.
