The Armada Locator 104 is a light weight, touring focused ski that will make your days touring around in softer, deeper snow a great time. The 104mm waist allows this ski to float effortlessly and you can get these things to pivot around anything in your way on tight terrain. On more firm terrain, the Locator 104 feels predictable and energetic but not so nervous that you need to jam on the brakes to regain control. In softer snow the skis come to life. The skis have a relatively strong feel underfoot to keep you confident on the descent in some dicey terrain and they grip just well enough to trust them on hardpack. In the resort you can tell these skis are light, but they can handle it if the snow is softer. Paired with a tech binding these are an awesome touring setup.
