The Stormbird 82 is Blizzard’s latest addition to the frontside carving category, and our test crew is fired up about it. For a ski in this class, it’s impressively energetic and surprisingly easy to ski. Where many carving skis feel glued to the snow and take some work to maneuver, the Stormbird initiates and exits turns with minimal resistance. That makes it less taxing on your legs, easier to balance, and generally more confidence-inspiring.
If your top priority is power and edge hold from tip to tail, there are stiffer, more locked-in options out there. But where the Stormbird stands out is in its balance of stability and liveliness. It handles firm snow with ease but feels much more eager to turn than some of the other heavy hitters in the category. That energy is what sets the Stormbird apart. It’s an excellent choice if you're working on getting comfortable tipping your skis on edge or want a frontside ski with enough personality to rip through bumps or some more inspired and adventurous spring ski days.

Return Policy
All returns must be made within 90 days of your purchase date and must be in new condition (tags attached, unused, unwashed, and unworn).
