Black Crows Atris Skis 2025

The Atris got an upgrade last season and Black Crows crushed it, so it's no surprise the ski remains unchanged aside from a graphics update for the 24/25 winter. The Atris is 3mm more narrow than older models trimming the waist width down to 105mm underfoot making it a better all-mountain option as opposed to just a soft snow ski. It's still a more playful, soft snow-oriented ski but the new one is more stable and solid feeling underfoot. For a ski this wide it grips surprisingly well and it has good energy underfoot making it a blast to ski in tight terrain, deep snow, and even some heavy wet spring slush. However, considering this is a more playful ski, there are options in this waist width that will grip better and power through choppy snowpack smoother like the Rustler 10 or other wider waisted skis with more stout construction. The Atris is stable enough to keep chatter at bay and it never feels nervous, even at high speeds. The Atris is easy to pivot and turn initiation is quick so it can make really any turn shape you want making the ski a weapon in tight terrain. Would you want to ski this strictly on groomers? Probably not, but it isn't built for that. This is a ski that likes to spend time in trees, in powder, and it likes a skier with a more playful style as opposed to a true hard charger.
