The 2026 Nordica Sportmachine 3 130 BOA is the heavyweight champ of comfort-forward performance boots for good skiers with wider foot shapes. Built around a 102mm last, it’s definitely roomy, but the liner and shape bring this HV option to a new level of precision and hold you don’t normally find in high-volume boots. The 130 flex is legit, this boot has the horsepower to drive big skis at speed and hold an edge on boilerplate, yet it doesn’t punish you with a brick-wall feel. 

On snow, the Sportmachine 3 130 BOA is predictable and stable, with a smooth flex pattern that makes it easier to stay balanced when conditions get rough. It’s the rare combo of a powerful boot that doesn’t feel like a vice or feel difficult to access the power band. You can crush laps all day without wanting to rip it off in the lodge. For skiers with wider feet who always thought they had to trade fit for performance, Nordica just raised the bar.

Bootfitter's Notes

The Nordiica Sportmachine is a high-volume fit with some traits that put the boot on the slightly snugger side of the spectrum. It's firm in the heel, more so than you normally get in a wider fitting boot, instep is high-volume but more snug than other options. Width is accomdating and length is slightly generous. Great HV option for those who still want a solid fit.
