The Lange Shadow 95 HV is proof that beginner and intermediate skiers with wider feet don’t need to settle for a mushy boot with a bad fit. This is a legit ski boot. Right out of the box, the fit is pretty dialed. This is the HV (High Volume) version, so it’s built around a 102mm last  which is ideal for skiers with wider feet, higher insteps, or anyone who wants more breathing room without sacrificing support or performance. The liner is plush but secure, and the shell shape works with your foot instead of against it. No pinching, no crushing, no toe-numbing pressure. This is just a clean, comfortable fit that you’ll actually want to ski in all day. Bonus points for being one of the warmer boots out there too. 

On snow, the 95 flex is approachable without being vague.  That means you don’t have to work super hard to get the ski to respond, and the transitions between turns feel smoother and more controlled. Whether you're working your way up the blues or starting to link turns in steeper terrain, the Shadow 95 HV gives you room to improve without holding you back.

It’s forgiving enough to build confidence, but it won’t feel like it’s folding in half as you progress. And unlike some entry to mid-level boots, the Shadow 95 HV doesn’t feel like a stepping stone boot. It’s the real deal, just tuned for where you are right now as a skier but it's not something you'll out-progress quickly.
