The Veloce 100 is a great option for beginner skiers who are looking for a solid boot that fits better and skis more efficiently than a rental boot. It offers a mid-volume fit that isn't overbearing in the mid-foot and fore foot while being solid in the heel. The 100 flex has enough power to drive skis easily and more predictably than rental boots while still being soft enough to allow for forgiveness as you continue to progress as a skier. The flex of this boot while being more tailored for beginner skiers is also strong enough to allow you to grow into the boot -- you won't want to replace this as quickly as softer flex options. Skiers who are more advanced but want a similar fit should check out the stiffer Veloce 120. 

Bootfitter's Notes

The Veloce 100 is solid in the heel but by no means aggressive. The mid/forefoot area of the boot is a bit wider than some other 100mm lasted boots. The instep and top of the foot are snug and precise but not overbearing. The toe box is generous in length. Looking for more power and a more precise fit? Go Veloce 120.
