There aren't a ton of 50/50 boots that tour well and ski well; the Ultra XTD 115 BOA is one of those boots. Compared to older versions of the Ultra XTD 115, the new model offers much better downhill performance and a more anatomical fit. The major update for this season is all in liner technology. Added material in the heel that Atomic calls “Power Ankle Lock” makes the Ultra a touch more precise in the heel to keep you feeling confident when you’re pushing it out there. It's a bit heavier than previous models, but with the added weight, you get added downhill performance; a well-worth-it trade-off. While the Ultra XTD 115 BOA isn't going to perform as well as a traditional downhill boot, it's pretty damn close. A stiff and responsive flex pattern is more than enough for most aggressive skiers or experts. This boot can drive just about any ski out there without hesitation or feeling like the boot wants to give up. On the touring side of things, the XTD 115 is light enough to keep your day efficient, and Atomic has developed arguably one of the smoothest walk functions on the market. For expert skiers who want one boot for the resort and touring, the Ultra XTD 115 is one of the best. Unrivaled fit for narrow feet, a BOA system that improves foot wrapping, and a walk mode that is smooth AF.

Ski boots are sized in mondo point, which is simply the length of your foot in centimeters, and there’s no true half sizing — 26.0 and 26.5 are typically the same boot.
