The world of high-volume touring capable boots just got a serious upgrade. The Atomic Hawx Magna XTD has all of the fit characteristics skiers with higher volume foot shapes are after with a ton of performance to back it up. This isn't the most powerful 130 flex boot out there but it's more than enough boot for advancing intermediates up to more aggressive expert skiers who have wider feet and need a boot that can drive skis with power. The introduction of a "walk-mode" to the Magna line was a long time coming. There weren't many great options that could tour efficiently and ski aggressively for skiers with wider feet or more comfort-oriented skiers. The walk function is intuitive and feels fluid on the way up. Even though this boot has touring capabilities it is built for the downhill side of things. A stable feel, solid power transfer and a fit that is generous enough to keep you comfortable all day. This is sure to be one of the most popular boots for skiers who love the resort but want the option to tour or hike and have wider feet.

The Atomic Hawx Magna XTD 130 is a true high-volume fit for skiers with wider feet or comfort-oriented skiers. It is generous in width and on top of the foot while being firm enough in the heel to keep you planted. Out of the box, toes may feel a bit crowded in length and vertically but this will open up very quickly and does not warrant sizing up. The shell on the Hawx Magna XTD is heat moldable along with the liner making the fitting process a breeze for customers and boot-fitters.
