If you're looking for a touring-capable ski boot that performs as close to a regular high performance downhill boot as possible, the Cochise 115 is one of your best options. It has the features and range of motion necessary to get you uphill efficiently, and is powerful enough to charge downhill, no matter how aggressively you're pushing your skis. Pins in the toe allow the Cochise to work with any touring binding, while a slick walk mode feature allows the option to skin up hill or boot pack with ease. If you're not looking to tour and you just want your resort boot to have a walk mode feature for hanging around the lodge or hitting après, the Cochise is also a great choice. For skiers looking for a boot that makes any hike a breeze, but is also most impressive on the downhill, the Cochise is ready to be your companion. 

Bootfitter's Notes

For a high-performance boot with a stated 99mm last, the Cochise 115 has a relatively forgiving fit. For good skiers with average to slightly wider feet, this could be a solid option. Length is true to size, toe box is more squared off, which decreases pressure on the big toe and pinky toe, without being too spacious. Heel and achilles are firm but will break in to feel more supple after the molding process. Instep is on the more precise side for a mid-volume boot, but not overbearing. The cuff can also accommodate larger calves, if you've had issues with them in the past. The Cochise is also one of the easiest boots to modify, as far as fit goes, making it a solid option for a wide range of foot shapes.

Ski boots are sized in mondo point, which is simply the length of your foot in centimeters, and there’s no true half sizing — 26.0 and 26.5 are typically the same boot.
