Blows all the other boots in this category out of the water. It's powerful enough to be skied hard, relative to other touring boots, and provides a fit more similar to a downhill boot. If you're an intermediate to advanced skier looking for solid performance out of your touring set-up this is the boot you need.

An efficient, lighweight touring boot that is light but still drives skis with power and predictability.
The new Tecnica Zero G Tour Pro is a touring focused boot that is powerful enough to bend and control lighter-weight skis more with precision. Compared to some other boots in this weight class (1345g @ 26.5) the Zero G Tour Pro is one of the best, it packs a huge punch for how light it is. This isn't a boot you'd want to use with heavier, resort-focused skis. This is a boot built for laps in the backcountry, side country, or uphill trails at your local resort. Paired with a lighter ski you've got a killer setup. The boot has a stated flex of 130 (it's a lightweight boot so it's not a downhill boot 130) making it responsive, predictable, and smooth in power transfer to skis on the descent. On the uphill side of things, the range of motion is incredibly smooth and easy to use, while the lightweight construction won't hold you back, no matter how long your hike is. There aren't many boots out there that come close to the performance the Zero G Tour Pro offers for a touring boot. This is one of the best boots for good skiers who want to a touring boot that won't hold them back.
The Tecnica Zero G Tour Pro is one of the best-fitting boots in the alpine touring category. It is snug enough in the heel to keep you secure on descents but isn't overbearing for longer ascents. The toe box may feel a little crowded and the instep is a bit snug right out of the box, but this will feel much more appropriate once the liner and shell are molded to your feet. This isn't a fit that offers unrivaled precision, but for a touring boot it's a tough fit to beat.

This is a tough boot to beat if you have average feet and are a good skier looking for a great touring boot. It drives all touring skis with ease and can push some heavier options around well too. The fit is one of the best in the category.
