Salomon's TwinFrame in the X Pro 70w does two things; makes it more responsive on the hill by putting more rigid plastic where it's needed and the softer plastics above the instep make it much easier to put on, just pull the loop on the tongue and you'll just need to buckle up.  The 3D Fit liner comes already premolded to an average foot shape making for an awesome out of the box fit and a quicker break-in.  Despite it being a soft flexing boot it really does have solid edge to edge response, this is due to the TwinFrame design and oversized pivot.  If your focus is comfort and a side of performance the X Pro 70w will do you just fine.
