The Supra BOA X100 is a great option for less experienced skiers making the jump from rental boots. This boot is easy to put on, has a comfortable liner, and will be much nicer to ski in than rental boots or older retail boots. The 100 flex is forgiving while still being stable enough to make your ski day efficient.

The Salomon Supra BOA 100 is a boot for beginner to intermediate skiers making the jump from rental boots. It's easy to step in and out of, the liner is more supple than some other boots in the category, and for a 100 flex boot, it offers a solid amount of performance to make your ski day efficient. It isn't a "powerful" boot, so if you're a more advanced skier, you're probably looking at the wrong boot. However, compared to rentals or older retail boots, the X100 does a good job of getting energy from skiers to ski predictably. If you're looking for your first pair of boots, have average to slightly wider feet, and you still want a quality boot, this is the option.
The Supra BOA 100 fits exactly like a beginner/intermediate skier might want their boot to fit. The liner is on the more supple side, great for skiers who still keep comfort high on the priority list. It's precise enough in the heel to keep you locked down but isn't aggressive at all. The instep is on the more generous side, and it's easy to get an even fit on top of the foot and across the instep with a few turns of the BOA dial. Length is true to size. However, when the boot is brand new, it may feel a little crowded in the toe box before the boot breaks in. This does open up quickly after the liner is molded to your feet. Around the back of the heel, you might notice a band of pressure on the lower part of your heel; this also goes away once the liner is molded to your feet. A heat-moldable shell and liner will get you close to a perfect fit with very minimal work.
