The Salomon S/Pro Supra 120 is a responsive, and most importantly, incredible fitting boot great for average skiers with average feet. At a 120 flex, the Supra 120 can drive almost any ski out there with awesome precision and control all while maintaining a high enough level of comfort that most recreational skiers are after. This is an awesome option for progressing intermediates all the way to expert skiers who don't need the stiffest boot out there.  Let's talk for a second about the elephant in the room, a BOA dial on a ski boot. The introduction of the BOA fit system allows skiers to "dial" the fit in with incredible precision. The BOA allows for more consistent wrapping around the foot without causing pressure points on top of the foot where some buckle boots might. The goal of ski boot fitting is to find something that offers an even fit throughout. BOA systems make that even fit even more attainable. 

Bootfitter's Notes

The Salomon S/Pro Supra 120 is a mid-volume boot with a more forgiving fit. Just because it's on the more forgiving side doesn't mean it's a bucket. In the heel, the Supra 120 is firm but not aggressive. Before molding the boot you may notice some excess pressure low down on the sides of your heels, this does go away after the boot is broken in. The instep is on the generous side, great for skiers with higher insteps or those who have had issues with boots digging into the top of your foot. Length is true to size and pressure along the sides of your feet is true for a mid-volume boot but is on the more comfortable side due to a softer liner and thin shells. This is a great boot for a huge range of skiers that want a great boot but want to maintain some level of comfort.
