Be like an assassin out there.
The Salomon Assassin is an all-mountain legend back for another season as the ultimate one-board quiver. We overuse that term, I know, but what else could I call this board? It's a directional twin shape that can crush the woods, soft snow, groomers, and the park. Put me in any of those scenarios and I won't be disappointed if the Assassin is on my feet because this board checks a lot of boxes. A flex pattern that skews a little stiffer than right down the middle allows for a level of stability that'll work at high speeds, while not being so stiff that it's unexciting or too demanding off-trail. A camber profile allows the board to maintain performance for when the snowpack inevitably becomes a little firmer. That flex pattern along with a twin feel gives it a playful feel in the park or other more freestyle-oriented riding scenarios. The hardest-charging riders may want something stiffer so they can generate more power, but the Assassin makes sense for a ton of riders.
Who is this board for? Intermediate to expert riders who want a board that does a little bit of everything. It's not the hardest charging nor is it the most forgiving. It's a board that works for any riding style and feels comfortable just about anywhere you take it.
Who isn't this board for? Riders who want the stiffest option. Beginner riders should look at something a little softer.

A board that works for just about any riding style but doesn't lack if you're riding a little harder. It's not the most aggressive ride ever, but take this board anywhere on the mountain and it'll be comfortable. From the trees to the chutes to the park to the groomers - the Assassin is ready to kill it.
