A medium-stiff boot that can handle any riding style.

RIDE EM' COWBOY.

The Ride Lasso is a medium-stiff boot built for all-mountain performance for a wide range of riding styles and foot shapes. It's slightly stiffer than medium flex so it's a good option for someone who wants a responsive, stable feel that's confident at speed, but also doesn't feel like too much work at lower speeds. The Lasso can handle some harder charging but is easy enough to flex into for progressing riders, freestyle riders, and riders who spend a lot of time picking their way through technical terrain. Most riders will find the Lasso to be stiff enough for any situation, but the Lasso Pro is a stiffer, more aggressive version if response is your main priority. The regular Lasso is in the category that works for the broadest range of riding styles. Progressing riders will find it's accessible right off the bat, and isn't a boot that they'll grow out of (in terms of skill) as their riding improves. Advanced riders will find it has plenty of beef to drive a board at medium to high speeds while being forgiving enough to make the board feel pretty manuverable. If you're looking for versatility, the Lasso is your answer.

Bootfitter's notes:

The Lasso feels pretty roomy in the front but offers awesome heel hold. It works for anyone with a wider foot, or anyone with a more narrow foot that prioritizes comfort over the most locked-in feel in the front of their boot. If you prefer a wider boot but have had issues with heel hold in the past, this is the boot for you. Two adaptable foam pieces hug your heel on both sides and grab onto it. Full disclosure, this part of the boot can feel a little wonky right out of the box for some feet, but breaks really nicely after a couple of days on snow, especially if it's been heat-molded. On top of those foam pieces, the side Boa controls a piece inside the boot that wraps your foot and gives you a ton of control over the fit in your heel, creating a very precise and locked-in feel.

The Lasso is kind of one-size-fits-all. It doesn't make sense for every snowboarder, but it would work for any snowboarder. If you want a boot that can handle everything but don't think you're ready for the stiffest, this is a great option for you. If you're trying to bring your riding to the next level but want something that won't be too easy or "beginner-oriented," this is also a great option for you.
