One of the most savage boards on the market and will have no problem with whatever you throw at it.

“FAKE IT ‘TIL YOU MAKE IT” - JESUS.

Let me just start this one off with a lil’ hot take. The all-new Ride Deep Fake is going to have a big impact on the way stiff, aggressive all-mountain snowboards are constructed. The board is loaded with awesome tech features, but the real game changer is that it has two thin pieces of titanal (metal) that run tip-to-tail through the core along each edge. I know there are some snowboarders that may not want to hear it, but this use of titanal is actually very similar to what we’re seeing in almost every top all-mountain ski out there right now (bout time skiing gives us something instead of the other way around).

The goal of this technology is to give the board some extra dampness, some extra oomph, and the result is very sick. The Deep Fake wants you to ride hard, go fast, and let it bulldoze through whatever snow conditions are in front of you. It’s incredibly smooth and stable and at speed, and just quietly absorbs any kind of chop or turbulence like no other board out right now. Before testing the Deep Fake, all I knew was that a board with metal in it would be stiff and responsive. Other than that I wasn’t sure what to expect, but after a few full days of testing in various conditions, I can safely say this board fills a gap that a lot of riders have been looking for. It’s a fairly demanding board and takes a little bit of work to get on edge, but once you lean it over the grip and stability are unmatched. That’s what separates the Deep Fake for me, it has this damp, powerful feeling that the other top stiff snowboards on the market lack. It’s not quite as poppy and energetic as those boards and is a little heavier, but the rider who will appreciate the Deep Fake won’t care about the extra weight or dampness. It’s a trade-off for more power and more stability that can’t be achieved without the extra beef that the titanal construction provides. The Deep Fake is an aggressive groomer-slaying machine, but it was no surprise to me that even some of Ride’s top park riders have made it their board of choice because it can just handle so much.

Who is this board for? Hard chargers who prioritize a stiff, responsive feel that will provide confidence at any speed.

Who isn't this board for? Beginner riders who are looking for a board with easy turn initiation that doesn’t take much effort to get on edge or riders who prefer a lightweight, playful feel.

The Test Crew

We test products year round in order to curate the best gear for you.

It's beefy, it's burly, it's no joke. The Deepfake wants a rider who knows how to put force into their board and isn't afraid to step on it. It wants you to drive it, and in return, it will be a stable platform at any speed.
