By now everybody is pretty well aware that just about everything that comes out of the famed Never Summer factory is going to be pretty sick, but the Never Summer Aura might just take the cake. This stiff freeride beast carves trenches better than just about anything out there, without losing any of that epic float in powder that Never Summer is known for. The shortest size the board comes in is a 146 cm - it’s designed to be ridden long for the best performance at high speeds on steep descents, in all snow conditions. Softer and more playful boards can start to feel a little sketchy and skittish at higher speeds but not this thing. It’s built to send it at high speeds and as a result feels super stable no matter how hard you are ripping. Even with all of that power, though, the rocker section in the middle of the board initiates turns super easily so unlike some other stiff decks it never feels like too much board.
